Privacy Notice

This notice is maintained by FoeNetics to explain, in plain language, what personal data we collect through this website and how we use it.

Who we are

FoeNetics is the data controller for personal data collected via this site. We are based in London, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this notice or your data, contact us at John.foenander@foenetics.com.

What we collect

We only collect personal data that you actively choose to give us — for example, your name, email address and the contents of your message when you contact us by email. We do not run background analytics, advertising or profiling, so we do not build a picture of your browsing behaviour.

Why we use it & our lawful basis

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and to correspond with you about it. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is our legitimate interest (and, where relevant, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract) in responding to people who get in touch. This is standard, necessary processing in line with ICO guidance.

No tracking beyond what is necessary

We want to be explicit: this website uses no analytics, marketing or third-party tracking. The only data processing that happens is what is strictly necessary to serve the site securely and to handle enquiries you send us. There is no advertising network, no behavioural profiling and no cross-site tracking. See our Cookie Policy for detail on cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your request and any reasonable follow-up, after which it is deleted. We do not retain your data longer than necessary.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We only use trusted providers (such as our website host and email provider) to operate the site and respond to you, and only to the extent needed to provide those services.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email John.foenander@foenetics.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
